What is floor heating ?
Underfloor heating is a type of heating installed in the floor. The floor is heated by means of hot water flowing through the pipes. A pump with a distributor ensures that the water is circulated from the central heating boiler or heat pump. This makes heating rooms very easy!
In a normal heating system with a radiator, the air is heated by convection. The air first rises, cools and is then heated again by the radiator. These flows of warm and cold air cause differences in temperature. This problem is completely taken care of with underfloor heating.
Underfloor heating can be used in all kinds of spaces, both in houses and in commercial buildings. Many people opt for underfloor heating in the living room, but it can also be a solution for the bathroom, for example. The type of floor plays a major role in this.
