JTR Jujutsu International combat style martial arts system originates from the 16th-century battlefields of Japan and was once used by Samurai warriors to encompass a complete fighting system. The Jujutsu system has evolved over the centuries into a practice of martial arts that includes empty-hand strikes, kicks, throws, joint levers, chokes, ground fighting, and weapons techniques. Jujutsu is translated to mean “yielding, soft or gentle” since many of the techniques are designed to subdue and control an aggressor.
