About "live From Mint Hill" Productions
| "Live From Mint Hill" Productions is an event organizing company that sets up show for restaurants, festivals, venues, and private parties, weddings, etc. We have several very good singers who sing a variety of songs, from Oldies and Doo Wop to Elvis and Roy Orbison. We also have a variety of Country singers. At the present time, we do shows on most Saturday nights at Jonathan's of Matthews Restaurant, 10630 Independence Pointe Parkway, in Matthews, NC. The shows start with dinner hour at 6 PM, and with the show starting at 7 PM. Check out these shows to see what we have to offer. We will work with you and your budget to get you some good entertainment for your event. We also organize benefits and fundraisers for your organization. Some of the shows we have done were for the American Red Cross for the Katrina and Tsunami victims, the Mint Hill Historical Society, the Korean War Veterans Association, and the Hemby Children's Hospital.
Rustee Lane is the owner of "Live From Mint Hill", a retired Postal Worker who worked for the Postal Service for 22 years. She organizes, produces and promotes the shows. Saturday, Oct. 25 at 6 PM - "GB and ME" Band with Sharelle Quick at Jonathan's of Matthews Restaurant. This band likes to have fun with music, singing anything from Jimmy Buffet to Bob Seger. Saturday, Nov. 1 at 7 PM - "The Korean War Veterans Memorial" Benefit Dinner Show at the Mint Hill Masonic Lodge, 10224 Lawyers Road, Mint Hill, NC 28227. This is a fundraiser for the NC State KWV Memorial to be built in Mint Hill Park. Performers will be Elvis tribute artist Chuck Ayers, Roy Orbison tribute artist Tony King, the Carolina Blues Brothers, and country singer Christa Owen. Tickets are $25, and includes the show, a spaghetti dinner, salad, drink and dessert. Tickets can be purchased in advance from Don Putnam by calling 704-496-4709. Reservations can be made by calling 704-545-6618. Pavers will also be sold at the show to immortalize your loved ones who served in the military. These pavers will be part of the new memorial.
