About Cupik Eskimo Originals

My art work has continued from my ancestral background, going back to my grandfather Aparuk. He had revived the Native Dancing in the village called, once a big village Kashunak.  His son Timothy Matchian had made masks for native dancing. He made likeness of traders for humorous dance purposes. That mask he created along with others, now in some museum collections, were photographed and possibley filmed by the Milottes, who worked for the Walt Disney company in the 1930's and 40's.
